Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and rational-emotive behaviour therapy (REBT) online, UK-wide.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
What is CBT?
Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that looks at how we think about a situation and the effect that this has on the way we act and also on how our actions can in turn affect our thoughts and feelings.
CBT is a collaborative approach to therapy: therapist and client work together to help to change the client’s unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs, or unhelpful behaviours, or a combination of both.

What can CBT treat?
Online CBT is offered via video call or telephone. Online offers a flexible approach that many clients find more convenient and comfortable than in-person therapy.
I have a first class Psychology Degree (BSc hons) from Roehampton University and a Masters Degree (MSc) in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and a full member of the Association of Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapists (MAREBT).
In addition to working in private practice for the last eleven years, I have experience working as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for the NHS and The Priory. I also have experience practising Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at Mind and at a London Drug and Alcohol Service.
Some client feedback
What is online CBT?
'Kate has been brilliant, I can't say enough good things about her. She's helped change my life and I'll always be very grateful'
'I feel I've made real progress with my depression and anxiety for the first time in 10 years'
'Kate is an amazing therapist'
' It has been a pleasure working with Kate. She's warm and encouraging and I felt safe to express myself. Being free of symptoms of anxiety and panic has been made possible because of her techniques, I was amazed by how quickly it was working. The results have been long lasting so thankfully I hadn't needed to go back - although I miss our sessions! I would recommend Kate to anyone!'
' I'd recommend Kate to anyone, she has helped with a few things I've spent quite a long time struggling to get to grips with on my own. People say that the key to therapy is finding the right therapist and I'd say that if you're reading this you've found her'
I offer an initial free, no obligation consultation appointment via video call or telephone.
